Volume 22 opens summer season and heat will be on the dance floor. Fire and flavour will come out from the turntables and the sets from our invited DJs. Pure talent and long-established Dj Nuno Melo straight from Portugal will burn the floor guaranteed. Second time lucky, we have been waiting for DJ Nuno since last November so we know he will bring up the volume, flavour, and awesomeness for our dancing pleasure. Alongside him we have the pleasure to enjoy the talent of Dj Jeff Bunagan, who now based in London has long experience in entertaining salsa dancers with his fine selection of music through his successful social collaboration Boston Pica Pica Mambo Social.
We will start with a fun and informative salsa class followed by social dancing with music ‘narrated’ by our invited talented DJs through the original and timeless sound of vinyl records.

Dj Nuno Melo
Nuno discovered Latin-American music and Salsa in 1996. The first experiences as a Salsa DJ started in 1999 and soon after he started organizing regular Salsa parties, some of which still continue today. Since 2001 he has collaborated as a DJ with most Salsa Clubs/discos in Portugal. His passion and dedication to Mambo and old school Salsa continue to grow till today. Since 2001 he is the official DJ and one of the organizers of the oldest Salsa party in Portugal: Salsaviva in Almada. He is also one of the organizers of the Palladium Nights and Lisbon Salsa Vinyl Sessions, two of the most popular Salsa parties in Portugal right now. The Palladium Night Concept has grown outside borders and is now taking place also in Dublin, Ireland.
Since January 2017, together with two friends, he runs a Facebook Live weekly program called “A Hora da Salsa ” which
broadcast 1h of Salsa Music every Sunday Night. Has participated as a DJ in the most popular Salsa events in Portugal and in many International events.During the last 16 years, he has also shared the DJ cabin with renowned Salsa DJs as: Pablo Bat (Arg), Henry Knowles (USA), Gabriel (Fra), Miguelón (Spa), Pepe Bassan (Ita), Loic (Fra), Mulato (Fra), Patrick el Clasico (Switz), El Malo (Switz).
